Finding God's Will

                         Finding God’s will

Psalms 57:2 says; I will cry out to God who performs all things for me!!

Dear People in Christ- Know that it is God who performs things in your life.

His Will is always the Best- But it’s not easy to understand His will. His Will –will be like a roller coaster ride but it’s worth it at the end...

We always have heard people say “Its Gods will in my life that turned out to be the best for me”. But if you ask them – They will have a painful story behind it.

For God’s will to be accomplished in your life you have to go through so many things that you don’t want to go. You have to learn lesson that you don’t want to learn.

If you have gone all through those things and reached a point and said- Even though I had been through so many things where I found it very hard- But now I say it’s worth the pain and I have learnt How God has used those pains for me to get to this place and it is worth the pain…

God’s will is not always roses- But thorns!!!

Imagine the God’s will for Jesus? His plan was that Jesus had to bear up the cross to redeem us from the death that sin gives us. He had to go through the most painful seasons of His life, even when He knew that He would go through all of those things already. But Jesus still did it.

If Jesus did not go through the suffering, we would have not tasted His love and be redeemed from sin and would have missed the best gift of all that is the Eternal Life with Jesus forever and ever !!

God’s will for Jesus was pain and through that pain we were saved by Grace that is freely given to us now… Remember it was GOD’S WILL. Was it easy? No- But its worth!!

Romans 12:2 say; Set your patterns according to the Will of God.

There are many mistakes that we do in seeking God’s will?

Do not combine your will to be God’s will – Do not do that. You can put your desires to God and pray seeking His will to know in that matter.

Romans 9:20 says;  But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed say to him who formed it, “Why have you made me like this?”

Do not say- God this is my wish, Please do it for me.. We have this life given to us by the creator. It’s good to have plans- But know whether it is approved by God.

Proverbs 16:2; The preparations of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from the Lord.

Today most of our plans fail because – There’s no God’s will in it?  Am I right?

Psalms 37: 4 says; Delight yourself in the lord and He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Look at the first line- It says Delight yourself in the lord – Meaning- seek God and His will first. That is what Mathew 6:33 says- But seek first the kingdom of God and all things shall be added to you.

There are a few things we need to follow to know whether His will is accomplished in our lives.

1.   Be Obedient to His words. When you obey- you are asking God to do His will in your life. You maybe have to do something that you don’t want to do. Something stressful that will break you. But you have to do it. God’s will is in the pain that you go through. Jesus obeyed the words of His Father, though it was painful. Do what God is asking you to do even if it’s causing you pain.

2.   Do not Rush at things- When it’s God’s will. It is always a process. Know that when you’re rushing, it is not God’s will. It is you who’s rushing not God.  In psalms 46:10 says; Be still and know that I am God. That means- Don’t rush, wait and know that I am God who works with your life.

3.   When it is God’s will- You don’t have to be the decision maker- Ask God to be the decision maker of your life. You can ask me how will I ask God? How to hear Him?

Listen to His voice through His word. Quite your time in His presence. Put all your desires and thoughts that you have in your heart to God and ask Him to speak. Your answer may come any way. Be prepared to receive it.

4.   When it is God’s Will – You will have peace- Yes, know that whatever issue is it, if you have peace that you’re satisfied – you know its God will. Philippians 4:7 says;  and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Be it anything and everything- small or Big; Seek God’s will

Job, Marriage, higher studies, children issues, relocations, an appraisal at office, financial help… Anything seek God’s will.

Ask for confirmations from God about your matter!! Ask Him to speak through His word. Ask Him to reveal His will for you in every areas of your life.

God’s will is always aligned with a Purpose.

God’s will and His purpose are inter-connected. If He has a plan for you He definitely has His will in it.

God’s will is the centers of our lives, Without His will, we cannot to do nothing.

Proverbs 16: 9 A man’s heart plans his way,
But the Lord directs his steps.

I want you all to know that- If you want your desires to be met, Seek God’s will. Or else those plans that you have for yourself will give you only temporary happiness and you have to worry about it every day.

Give it to the hands of God and wait. He wants to give you the best and will never disappoint you.

1 John 5: 14 says; Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.

Hope this was a Blessing.

God Bless you all !

With Love

Esther
